    1. An enjoyable book, as told from the first person perspective I actually cared for the heroine and felt sympathy for the brothers Looking forward to reading of Jessica s story.

    2. Love Hurts by Catherine Green is a well written werewolf story that begins in the Cornish town of Redcliffe is a beautiful seaside resort bit NF7nZJ

    3. Love Hurts Well yeah and especially when your friends are than you knew Dangers, physical and psychological trauma added to the relationships Different rules or social sense from human to vampire, werewolf, and whatever else might be out there Self discovery, overcoming fear, differences while trying to heal Time and trust and love make it all easier, somewhat This book ends with acceptance and the villains dead and the wounded healing Not quite a HEA.

    4. What an amazing start to a series Im excited for the development of this series and cannot wait to read the second one

    5. Have you ever read a book and wished you could like it but the longer you read it, the less you like it and the harder it is to finish Yeah this was one of those for me I actually feel really bad for saying that too, but alas there are some books that just take you down that path.I mentioned in a previous review that I am not a fan of first person point of view stories This story is entirely in the first person, which was point one against it for me I figured that I would muddle through because [...]

    6. Jessica is living a normal, quiet life in Redcliff in Cornwall She has her bookshop, her good friends and a general, happy life It s quite, but far better than the life she had in Manchester Her best friend is having a baby and she s looking forward to playing auntie, and looking after Liz in her pregnancyAnd then Jack enters her life Handsome, sexy and definitely interested in Jessica who finally shows her what real love is really about both the highs and the lows With him her circle expands to [...]

    7. I read this book because the author is a fellow blogger whose posts I enjoy Paranormal romance is not my usual reading choice but I consider myself an eclectic reader and some time ago enjoyed Maggie Stiefvater s novel Shiver which is in a similar genre As I began to read Love Hurts I enjoyed the descriptions of the Cornish town and could imagine I was there I liked Jessica, the main protagonist, and she comes over as a self possessed, confident heroine The writing style is simple, clear and flu [...]

    8. A young girl thinks she falls in love with a human, a police detective Would love remain love when she discovers he is a vampire A killer A dangerous lover Would love be possible in many different forms so human and vampire s one is so true as other ones Reading what Jessica Stone, Jack and Danny Mason faced goes beyond the limits and stereotypes.A human, a vampire and werewolf that could be natural enemies fall in love Would every one of them accept it or give up It is not a paranormal romance [...]

    9. This is the first book of the Redcliffe novels and I really liked this book, it s probably not one that would ve caught my eye if it hadn t been brought to my attention, but saying that, I thought the storyline was going to be a bit cliche in the beginning, but it soon turned around and caught me by surprise. The characters and details of the town were described very well, I could imagine every detail as it was being read Catherine Green has a great imagination and in depth knowledge of the paran [...]

    10. I am the author, so naturally I am biased But judging by the verbal feedback I have received so far, this book is reaching an audience I never even anticipated If you like a mixture of realism and fantasy, set in contemporary England, with believable human characters, then this is for you.Jessica Stone runs a bookshop in Cornwall with her best friend She falls in love with a local police detective and later discovers that he is a vampire, and that his identical twin brother is a werewolf She is [...]
