    1. THE DRUID was amazing I found it to be a well written story of danger, romance, mythology, martial arts and adventure that pulled me in right away S G Rogers has an incredible imagination She s created believable yet enchanting characters Dani Avery is an ordinary girl who has been hurt by a past love and she vows the next time she gives her heart it will be to a hero and not a cad even if she has to leave Midgard earth to find him Dani takes possession of an antique looking brooch and her world [...]

    2. The Asgard Adventures are short books but packed with detail and adventure You all know by now I love any type of book that includes references to mythology, history, or paranormal This book references Norse Mythology and of great importance Odin and his wife After reading these books I almost wish I could visit Asgard as long as I was able to travel at will back to Midgard Earth Can you imagine the possibilities Dani unintentionally becomes caught in a battle of personalities between Asgard and [...]

    3. I ve never been a fan of fantasy literature I couldn t bring myself to read The Hobbit all the way through, and to my daughter s dismay I never had any desire to read any of the Harry Potter books But once I read a story by S G Rogers I became hooked on her unique way of blending make believe with reality I ve loved every book I ve read by Rogers, and The Druid is no exception I found it totally believable that a typical American young lady found herself in Asgard among immortal beings, having a [...]

    4. Nothing makes me feel richer than receiving a new book Hurrah for me, I won so now I read and the following review will be a honest opinion based only on my enjoyment or not, be it the case, of this book So away we go into the deep imaginative mind of author S.G Rogers Well, I was certainly in need of a refresher in Norse Mythology and The Druid is a fun romp through Midguard, Earth, and Asgard home of A List immortals and the location of Odin s hall, Valhallas.Stuck in her family s dry cleaning [...]

    5. The Druid, she tells of a young woman who s fallen for an author Emrys Drew or specifically, his character, an elf prince Prince Rein When the author brings his coat to Dani s dry cleaning establishment, she can t help but have a little fun She tries on the coat and finds herself bashed over the head and kidnapped to Asgard. Here, she finds the hero of her beloved novel is in fact, a real person erm, elf and that the author she s so enad of didn t exactly make up everything he wrote Nor is he [...]

    6. See original post on my blogI received a copy of The Druid for an honest review.Dani Avery craves adventure in her boring life working for the family business When Emrys a regular drops off his coat for a dry cleaning and invites Dani to his book signing the next day Dani doesn t think she could be any excited When putting Emrys coat away however Dani notices he left something is his jacket and thinks she ll pocket it to bring it to him the next day Too bad when Dani steps outside her shop two [...]

    7. The plot in this one isn t overly complicated and the characters have no great depth but are original enough to empathise with and the plot has enough tricks and twists to keep you reading on to see how it all turns out The description of Frigg, the ravens and Frigg s hall tower in the sky reveals a lot about how the author interprets norse mythology in a modern day world The description of Asgard City kept making me re call the city from Never Ending Story but the Viking Policemen did make me l [...]
