All I can say about this book is poor old Wang His character is simply wonderful and funny Lots if excellent characters crop up at the university all funny, all trying to help Wang get himself settled in a new country, with a strange language and currency Wang get embroiled in to a lot of hilarious and dangerous situationswhen not laughing out loud your on the edge of your seat Brilliant

As a retired university lecturer, I have a horrible suspicion that the mutual incomprehension between the Chinese students and the academic staff, which is at the heart of this comedy, is possibly all too real Hopefully, it doesn t often lead to the multiple disasters and life threatening situations that Wang, the main character, encounters, but you can easily see how it could do This is a really amusing book with a story that really draws you in and makes you hope for the best for Wang and his [...]
