    10. This was such a fun romp through history, while also being incredibly educational and a fantastic enrichment to a Revolution War unit Kat McGee is spunky heroine, reminiscent of a syrupy sweet Junie B Jones or Clementine, while still being a wholly original character My only problem with the book was that it read to me as being incredibly juvenile The publisher s age range for the book is 8 12 Grades 3 7 and Kat in supposed to be in 6th grade herself Yet, I can t see that age range reading it wi [...]

    12. I read this book thinking that I could use it with my 5th graders when we study the the colonies and the start of the American Revolution I think some of them might find it a bit juvenile I think it is geared toward 3rd or 4th graders Having said that the story did review some of the key events during that time period and I still might use it It is definitely a different way to present the material.
