    1. I belong to the writing group that assembled this anthology and I have a story in it Because of my association with the group, I had some idea of what to expect, and suspected I would enjoy the stories I loved the fact that this anthology spanned the world, had protagonists of many different social classes, and really showed the diversity that makes steampunk a wonderful world to play in as a writer Not only were there vampires, dragons, and airships, but paranormal investigators, dinosaurs, sup [...]

    2. I very, very much enjoyed this anthology, it has a taste of just about every genre that I love Each story was better than the last, and each completely different from one another There were several that have the potential to be made into full blown novels, but even the smallest was wonderfully written Very, very well done, and very enjoyable

    3. Spot on steampunk Jack Tyler, David Lee Summers and my family at the Den really got creative I won t rate my own story in this volume, but five stars for theirs Long live the Den

Disclaimer one of the stories in this anthology belongs to me.To be fair, I ll discuss only the stories written by the other authors.Jack Tyler gives us a delightful ghost story for skeptics Tyler s skill with characterization and knack for dialog is on point in Brass and Coal.Kate Philbrick gives us a taste of Lovecraftian horror, written in a style reminiscent of Sir Arthur Conan Doyle The result is wonderfully creepy.E.C Jarvis s Dragon s Breath offers an unlikely protagonist named Mud, who c [...]

    5. Some good stories by talented authors The word count limited the quality of most of the stories A better book cover would have been good.
