    1. I am the Light to the Dark. You call to me as I call to you.I will always hold you dear. Here s the thing If I wanted to read Anita Blake books, I d just read Anita Blake series This book reminds me waaaaay too much of Anita Blake series I gave up on A.B series after it became too many men in her life, and of course I have to end up with another series that is just the same, and where the main heroine, Lucinda ends up breaking my Michel s heart, because she has no damn control of her body Fuck her [...]

    2. Dear Author, you have broken my heart I don t know if my heart can handle the battle for love that I believe we are headed into I have to know how this end, therefore I must press over my anguish and reluctance, and go on But how can I endure any of this heroins stupidity Her intelligence level has diminished so much in this book I just want to slap her backwards across the floor I know I have to let my anger go I can hear the princess from frozen singing, Let It Go.

    3. Ok, so, I am trying so hard to read this series but I keep putting it down and here is why I am so tired of the heroine and her whining about her feelings concerning Michel yet she was fully manipulated by Gregor as well and she lets him drink from her at any time AND shares her mark with him I really don t think she feels bad about any of this Michel seems to be devoted to her and only her She loves Michel but still allows Gregor everything she won t give to him If she behaves this way, I reall [...]

    4. I am loving this series at the moment The only thing that annoys me is the constant vacillating of am I in love, or am I not It s not the question that annoys me, but the constancy of the point expressed throughout the book This is topped up by the suddenly, I know I am home or he fills me with love , I know he is everything to me then reinforced by the couple fighting This musing occurs all the time, which for me, is overkill We get that she is trouble and confused, it doesn t need to be contin [...]

    5. This is the second book in this series so I was totally looking forward to it I couldnt wait to find out what twists and turns Lucinda s life would take next This book definitely didn t disappoint I can t say though on rather I am a fan of the addition of Gregor I kind of like him but I have already severely fallen for Michel and seeing Lucinda spend any time with Gregor and not with Michel, breaks my heart They both seem a bit manipulative at times and there were a few things in this book that [...]

    6. Reviewed by Whitney Shooting Stars ReviewsBlood Life Seeker begins when Lucinda is in a Dream Walk where she meets Gregor, a major player in the vampire world When she comes back from the dream she tells Michael, and now they both know that things are going to change, and not in a good way To top it all of Lucinda just lost her best friend, and I do not mean he s dead With all of this going around, Lucinda also has an attraction she can t seem to fight when it comes to Gregor Then she s unsure f [...]

    7. Nicola Claire did it again, and wrote a wonderful book In fact, I loved this book so much than the first one It starts off right where the other one finished and from the beginning to the end this book keeps you entertained I went through so many emotions while I was reading this book and at one point I even felt anguish right along side Lucinda I became so absorbed in the story and with the characters, it was like I was living their lives with them Excellant book and I can t wait for the next i [...]

    8. I had a love hate thing going on with this book.Lucinda is twenty five and her powers have started to manifest, she seems to be surrounded on all fronts by danger and despite being bonded to Michel she sometimes feels so isolated and alone. This book was a love hate thing for me, I loved the whole idea and most of the characters plus the book s long so it s a read you can get lost in, at times I found I just couldn t read fast enough but.I think this is the most frustrating book I ve ever read, L [...]

    9. I liked the heroine well enough in the first book but she really got on my nerves in this one Also, did anyone else notice the strange similarities that this book has to Destined for an Early Grave by Jeaniene Frost What these two books had in common A powerful vampire named Gregor trying to seduce the heroine Gregor has mind dream control powers Gregor and the heroine interact in ParisI don t know if Nicola Claire and Jeaniene Frost just happened to be completely unaware of these similarities, [...]

    10. I am having a really hard time reviewing this book Facts 1 The very best part of the book for me was the bonus chapter at the end that was in Michel s POV 2 The main character is so damn annoying She asks her self the same question, same words, if she can trust her feelings back and forth, over and over, back and forth, to the point that it felt realistically like 40% of the book And as soon as she reaches a resolve she changes her mind Then we get to another point, and she sees it clearly it s [...]

    11. Let me first say that I am a fan of Nicola s writing She is actually one of my favorite authors I just enjoy her style of writing and how she brings us into the world of all of these characters She creates this plot that pulls us into every scene There is fun filled action pack, twist and turns and even heartbreak Never a dull moment. So now Lucinda s relationship with Michel is progressing a lot To where now she knows she loves him, but she is not for sure if it has to do with the bond and joini [...]

    12. This is the second book of the Kindred series it is a flawless continuation of book one and as a reader you are immediately thrown back into the story, Lucinda and her kindred Michel are facing and problems , new characters appear and spice the story line up and old characters add to the problems the two main protagonists have to deal with There is not a dull moment in this book , it is a joy to read it look for a quiet place and settle for the day n, I highly recommend this series to everybod [...]

    13. OMG that was good The first one in series was good but this one is even better I really like the character of Gregor so I m dying to know how that goes Of course I like all these characters Seeing the good in people is Lucinda s super power, I swear if I ever had a daughter I d name her Lucinda for this character Wowzers

    14. I love this series so far Gregor certainly throws Lucinda off balance in a delicious way I truly love the way Mikel, Luce, and Gregor must interact to get out of Paris alive I can t wait to see how this complicated triangle unfolds I would definitely recommend this author to others.

    15. I didn t enjoy this book as much as the first I didn t like where the story went, and the heroine turned into a doozy with seemingly falling in love everywhere I did like it enough to purchase the third, so we shall see where it goes

    16. What a read Yet another amazing book This series so far has blown me away Definitely five stars I will absolutely recommend this series to anyone who loves the paranormal I could not put it down

    17. Book provided by the author.4.5 starsAnother brilliant read Great character and plot development A book that will have you hanging on the edge of your seat Loved it

    18. I love this series I could not put this book down If you have not read this series and you love a strong female and seriously hot vampires you must read these books

    19. Loved the 2nd book just as much as the first Very nice series and I m looking forward to continuing and trying her other books

    20. I m so happy it s getting better or maybe I m just glazing over some of Luce s stuff The introduction of Gregor is a fun part of this book I felt some Anne Rice and Stephanie Meyer influence in this one Luce seems to be maturing a bit but I still want her stronger not in a physical sense but in a yes Michel is hot as all that but i can disconnect my libido for 2 fucking seconds and realize that he could throw me aside to get what he wants At the end of each book so far we get a chapter from Mich [...]

    21. Where did the Lucinda from the first book go I wish she d come back because this sequel was full of angst, whining, and codependancy. There was little to no laudible character development, except for a smidge of information on Michel s past Add to that only the intense and constant self inflicted slut shaming, and there was very little for me to continue identifying with Luce.If I do read the next, I hope that this proves to just be a single weak story

    22. Love this book and loving the series I m hoping to get the next as soon as I can.It was hard to put this book down And love Luce s smart mouth.

    23. Oh boi Gregor is her mate what does that mean This changes things because she is Michel Nosferatin Why should But have her save the commander when she killed her and dispise her.

    24. Life Blood Seeker is the second installment of the Kindred series featuring New Zealand vampire hunter a.k.a Nosferatu Lucinda Monk. This time round Lucinda is taken on an emotional rollercoaster her best mate Rick wants to kill her literally , she s having boy troubles and of course she s caught up in a whole lot of problems associated with her role as a hunter and because of her relationship with Michel. Now that Lucinda has bonded with Michel, a powerful vampire, their emotional and physical co [...]

    25. The author should also rewrite this entire book from Mitchel s point of view Instead of just rewriting a teaser for chapter 3 Luce doesn t really trust him and thinks everything he does is planned and manipulated, or if she goes against his manipulations he ll find a way to use her somehow.Mitchel loves Luce It s almost a fanatic devotion mixed with an unhealthy nearly all consuming obsession He s not really even manipulating her He s just so fixated on her he blocks out things that she should k [...]

    26. I loved this book It was a flawless continuation of the first book, Kindred Nicola Claire really does paint an amazing picture with her details and unique storyline Lucinda is caught up in a fight trying to control her Light while evading the Iunctio s attention Soon, she finds herself being summoned there to speak with the Champion The Champion and other members put her and Michael through numerous tests, waiting for her to use her powers against the vampires A bit after they arrive, rogue vamp [...]

    27. Great story tellingThe book is well written and I enjoy all of the conflicts and of course the romance sections However, Lucinda really irks me and gets on my nerves SPOILER Lucinda goes back and forth with Michael, one minute she says she loves him and cannot be without him, the next she treats him horribly Then top it off she mates with Gregor and fawns all over him, right in front of him She would not like it if the tables were turned Yet, when she almost sleeps with Gregor and is only stoppe [...]

    28. I would die for you Lucinda, I would cast away everything I possess to be near you, I would take anything you willingly give and no , this is what you mean to me Lucinda s relationship with the Master of the City is progressing at an alarming rate, but she is unsure if what she feels is the truth Or just a by product of the joining and Bond Can she even trust her own feelings To top that off, the vampire governing body has taken an interest in Lucinda and Michel s joining The Iunctio s attention [...]

    29. Well I did really like this story and loved book one I like the premise and the world she has built for the vampires but I guess Lucinda is really bothering me She is so strong and has all these powers she can use and its like she forgets she has them Why wait until your dead or almost dead to use them against a vamp and setbacks down from some people like Gregory, when she could have killed him right off She also seems to have no willpower when it comes to men, I don t get that I guess She seem [...]

    30. Omgi have i have never despised a heroine in any novel as much as i despised this one Im not sure i can even coherently describe my hate for her For all her talk of betrayal, she is such a whiny, pathetic hypocrite I really want to bitch slap the idiot Where is the Luce I loved from book 1 Its like she is gone and i dont even see her any This was just too much for book 2 I cant believe with everything that has happened it has all occured in 2 books and not that much time has passed If this turns [...]
