    1. I ve seen these Pendragon Gargoyle books floating around for a little while No, not floating around for real Stop looking at me like that Geesh I read the reviews in blogland and one thing was consistent How everyone thought these Gargoyles were sexy Of course, my natural reaction to that was Really Creepy stone Gargoyles that live on Church towers are Sexy Well, to each her own I suppose When I was approached by Sydney Somers to read her novella Primal Hunger, book one in the series, I jumped a [...]

    2. Who would think a Gargoyle could be hot Really, really hot Apparently Sydney Somers knew, because Primal Hunger, the first book in her Pendragon Gargoyles series introduces us to her really, really hot gargoyles Kennedy works at Pendragon s, a bar owned by Tristan s family and the man drives her to distraction, there is just something about him and the way he looks at her A night of car trouble was all it took to send Kennedy spiraling into Tristan s secret world and his bed What has fate done t [...]

    3. Enjoy It For What It Is, ButSydney Somers s Primal Hunger is one of those stories that disappoint me, not for what it is, but for what it could be and yet isn t Full of interesting mythos, a spunky heroine with a backbone, and an Alpha male to drool for, the building blocks exist to make this title a really fantastic paranormal romance Unfortunately, the combination of the length of the story far closer to novella than mass market paperback and the focus on the sexual relationship between the tw [...]

    9. Review provided by Black Lagoon Reviews Primal Hunger, the first installment in The Pendragon Gargoyles series by Sydney Somers, packs a great punch despite its size Filled with action, romance, and a wonderful lore, the premise of this novella will have you addicted and hungry for First off, let me say that I loved the originality of this story Gargoyle shifters are definitely something I hadn t seen before and I was engrossed by their mythical origins dating back to the days of King Arthur Al [...]

    10. It s been since 2010, when I first got my Kindle, that I ve read this series I want to say the first book was either free or pretty cheap or I could have even splurged and purchased it However it was discovered, I ended up purchasing the other two in the series because I became obsessed I was disappointed when I had to wait for the fourth book in the series but I found out a little later that it was put on hold because of personal reasons I hoped everything was ok and kept checking back But imag [...]

    11. Important There s a wee spoiler that doesn t give anything major away towards the end The book is old enough that I think it s okay to hint at what happens towards the end but I ve put up a spoiler alert so you can skip it if you re so inclined.I discovered Sydney Somers while reading the Promise Harbor series from Samhain I really enjoyed her contribution to the quadrology so I figured I d give her paranormal stuff a shot The first series I tried her Pendragon Gargoyles books I picked this one [...]

    12. Not too long ago I read the beginning novella for the Pendragon Gargoyles, and I loved it Recently I finished book one, Primal Hunger Sydney Somers writes a fast moving and exciting story and hey, gargoyles Kennedy and Tristan whew, they definitely light it up They can t stand each other, all while secretly wanting the other so bad it hurts Love that A stalled car on a dark road throws them together one night, and it is perfect The whole enemies to lovers theme works so well for them, and adds t [...]

    13. Primal Hunger may be a novella but it packs quite the punch Sydney Somers manages to build a rather complex world that readers only get a tiny glimpse of On top of that, I got to meet shifters, gargoyles, fae and wraiths A massive amount of content is jammed in to only one hundred pages yet I somehow wasn t overwhelmed or lost If anything, I feel a little sad that it all had to end so soon I immediately liked Kennedy We re first introduced to her at work, bartending She s having a stand off with [...]

    14. Kennedy Beaumont loves her bartending job, even if her spirited nature sometimes gets her in trouble Like threatening to hose down one of Pendragon s co owners When it comes to Tristan, she could use a good hosing down herself maybe it ll help her stop casting him as the star of her wickedest dreams Since he goes out of his way to avoid her, it ought to be easy to put him out of her head until he reluctantly offers her a ride home Gargoyle shape shifter Tristan Callaghan hasn t had time for anyt [...]

    15. I presume you know what the book is about, I m letting you know what I liked or disliked about it.I love reading Sydney Somers work truly, she s just simply a fav Book 1 of The Pendragon Gargoyles Series was just good Not bad, not great simply good At first I suspected this series came before Shadow Destroyers and who knows While published after SD it may have been written before then But anyway this is me explaining 3 stars versus her typical 4 star work per my rating system As well there was o [...]

    19. Title Primal HungerSeries Pendragon GargoylesAuthor Sydney SomersRating ATitle Primal HungerSeries Pendragon GargoylesAuthor Sydney SomersRating AReview This book is definitely the start of a fascinating series for me as soon as I finished this one, I went out and bought the rest of the titles Before I started it, I was a bit leery about how the author would pull off having characters that were both shifters and gargoyles However, what we wind up with is an intriguing and original paranormal ser [...]

    20. Primal Hunger has a little bit of everything for everyone It has shape shifters, vampires, fae, gargoyles, wraiths and so much It sounds like there is a lot going on in this novella, but it all works together for a fantastic read.Kennedy is one of those rare heroines who is independent and tough without being too independent and tough if that makes sense She has a brain and uses it She wants to know what s going on and isn t afraid to ask questions Once she has the answers she wants, she takes [...]

    21. I should probably just give this book 2 or 3 stars, because on a lot of levels, I feel like it wasn t 4 star material BUT I COULD NOT put it down I literally sat there at work reading for a few hours until I finished the book, wondering to myself why I didn t buy the whole series in the first place Hot guy CHECKFunny girl CHECKSteamy STEAMY love scenes CHECKParanormal twist CHECKStory line that makes senseI like the story line, but there was a LOT going on A were cat gargoyle WHAT view spoiler t [...]

    22. This was my first paranormal romance and it fully met all my expectations The story is fast paced but also full with emotion and drama I found this book very easy to read, and the descriptions and format put you right in the story When you finish this book, you will be just as breathless as Kennedy is I loved the fact that even though this is a romance novel, you still have an action packed story line with the family struggle to find the mystical daggers that will save their brother Kennedy is a [...]

    23. 3.5 stars, I think The Pendragon Gargoyles series consists of short novels about various members of a family of gargoyles whose shifted shape is that of a large cat In this edition, bartender Kennedy discovers during a night of danger and mind boggling revelations that Tristan Callaghan, one of the owners of the bar, is not only than he appears, but the one meant for her An Arthurian dagger must be found, in order to free one of Tristan s brothers from the curse of being frozen in his stone cat [...]

    25. A really easy and fun read, and a great start to the series its not too heavy so no concentration really needed A lot of heated moments which are written really well but obviously not advised for those younger readers The beginning of the series starts to show the main aim and strategy to this series is around Avalon, King Arthur and of course, Excalibur There are a number of daggers that if collected in one place will reveal Excalibur Then it will need to be guarded until King Arthur arises to [...]

    26. A bartender with a hose filled with water trying to break up a fight between two large men What a way to start a story Kennedy has had the hots for her boss, Tristan, for months but nothing has ever come of it One night that begins to change when Kennedy s car breaks down and Tristan offers to help Tranquilizer darts, a car chase and then being holed up in a mansion seems to melt away the sexual tension between the two Finding out who is really at risk, why there is risk and who will mate with w [...]

    27. Tristan and Kennedy s story is a fast paced heart racing story full of thrills and magic Once the story started, the adventure was on Tristan was very hot and heavy with Kennedy and so freaking protective of her I loved when he discovered her relation to him That moment was quite humorous with his sister I loved the action of this story and all the different types of players as well as the twists and turns And seeing of Cale, Brianna, and Lucan have made me curious for their stories.

    28. First book in Pendragon Gargoyles series was quite interesting I liked story itself and I liked characters I m still getting used to short novels specifics, therefore I still felt like the whole story, background and even characters were a bit too superficial BUT This was the best short ebook I ve read Ok, I ll be frank I skipped the biggest part of explicit and too detailed sex scenes I ll definitelly continue reading this series.

    29. This quick read is about Kennedy, a local bartender, who has the hots for her boss, Tristan When they are thrown together when her car breaks down and he offers her a ride, she finds out about the world and Tristan than she bargained for.The plot develops quickly, but the book isn t very long I m hoping that there will be in the series to work out the bigger plot of King Arthur.

    30. A great story for this genre, wonderful characters and deliciously hot, meaning it s well done One of the things I like about this is that the sex doesn t feel gratuitous like some erotic romances. Why am I reading erotic romances They tend to be reasonably priced and readily available on ebook.
